Graham Hooke

Pastor at New Day Church (Retired)

Graham joined Calvary Christian Fellowship in 1978. His main role was as a worship leader before joining the full-time staff in 1993 and becoming senior leader in 1997. Previously he was Deputy Headteacher of a Penwortham primary school. He has recently led the church in transitioning to New Day Church, an ethos change as much as a name change - a place where people can make a fresh start in life.

He and his wife, Ruth married in 1980 and have two grown-up daughters, Sarah, a GP and Lydia, a student, and three grandsons.

Summer Sundays - John's Gospel (Summer 2014)

Over the summer period our Sunday morning services will be a little shorter and simpler.

We'll be looking at a couple of stories from John's gospel. First we'll think about Jesus turning water into wine at a wedding and we'll get three different perspectives on this. Then we'll look at Lazarus dying and being brought back to life. So it's a bit like 3 weddings and a funeral.
