Pastor at New Day Church
Graham joined Calvary Christian Fellowship in 1978. His main role was as a worship leader before joining the full-time staff in 1993 and becoming senior leader in 1997. Previously he was Deputy Headteacher of a Penwortham primary school. He has recently led the church in transitioning to New Day Church, an ethos change as much as a name change - a place where people can make a fresh start in life.
He and his wife, Ruth, lead Mercy People, a community choir for justice.They married in 1980 and have two grown-up daughters, Sarah, a GP and Lydia, a student, and three grandsons.
Bev is retired now and was a learning mentor in a local primary school.
In the past she's served as an elder in CCF and is now part of our Discipleship Pathways team. She leads Harbour, one of our small groups, and also heads up our 'Healing Choices' course. She has a desire for people to be freed from past mistakes and hurts so that they can experience and enjoy the full life that God intends for them.
Andy is one of New Day Churches worship leaders and is a top guitarist and musician. He is married to Clare and has four children.
Andy also runs the Friday Youth Programme "Talk n Tucker" and also helps co-ordinate youth outreach for other local churches.
Andy has his own business "Enterprize Web Deisgn and Print" offering Web Design, Graphic Design, Print, Video and Photography Services based in Longton and is the webmaster for our church web site.
Andy's favourite past times are song writing, hill walking and photography.
LJ was our youth worker at CCF for several years. Becky is a trained physiotherapist working in the NHS. Becky and LJ were married at CCF in July 2012 and they have two daughters.
Derrick is married to Jill and is a retired Methodist minister. Like many ministers he is multi-talented (!), playing the drums, the piano accordion and probably more besides. He has a unique sense of humour which is evident in his preaching, so expect to laugh a lot when listening to one of his talks. So that's going to be good therapy just for starters!
LJ is Lee James Warren and was our youth worker at CCF for several years. He is married to Becky, a trained physiotherapist working in the NHS and they have two little girls.
Wayne is a Chinese church leader currently working with World Horizons in the UK before he returns to China. He visited us on 18th January and we interviewed hiim, hearing the amnazing ways God works - bringing together two of our international Partners, Jacqui Shurr and Steve Coates.
NW Area Manager for CAP (Christians against Poverty)
Dave is well-known to us at New Day Church, providing support for our CAP Centre Manager.
He spoke at the launch of our new Job Club in May 2014.
Nigel Stewart is founder of The Creative Network, working acorss the South Ribble and Preston area. He is the organiser, in conjunction with SRBC, of regular live music events in Leyland, Longton, Penwortham and Chorley.
Stephen & Mary Coates have been international partners of NDC for many years since they and their family were part of the church in its early years of growth.
They live in Llanelli where they are based at World Horizons involved in supporting teams who work across Europe. Their special focus is Italy and they visit Genoa regularly to support church leaders in prayer and to bring blessing to the city. They have a vision to see Houses of Prayer established, in particular in Genoa reaching out to the lands of the Mediterranean.
Ruth is an Elder, the wife of New Day Church's Senior Pastor, and mother of two girls. She is also a musician, worship leader and leader of Mercy People, a community choir for justice.
